YOUNG METHODIST YOUTH (YMY): We are so excited about something NEW in our student ministry! Students in 5K – 6th grades will have a “Bring A Friend” Sunday each month to learn Scripture and Biblical truths through devotions and object lessons along with FUN activities! This month we will meet on Sunday, October 11th from 4:00-5:15pm. On Wednesday afternoons, we are planning to have a B.L.A.S.T. (Bible Learning And Sharing Together) so make plans to join us each Wednesday evening from 5:00pm-5:30pm!

October Scripture Memorization

Mark 12:29-31  Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Proverbs 3: 5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make straight your paths.”

Thanks so much to our faithful YMY and MYF groups! Please pray that God makes His truth real in our hearts and lives as we shine our light in a dark world! Thank you once again for the incredible privilege of sharing the spiritual journey of our young people at Main Street UMC!
