We want to send a huge “Thank You” to all who helped serve, deliver and sell for the youth BBQ fundraiser…we appreciate you so very much! We sold 560 plates (a record!) and enjoyed a great time of fellowship. Special thanks to Tom & Jean Berry, Marian McLaurin and Lynn Rice…we could not have done this without y’all!
MYF: Start the year off right: Make spending time with God in prayer and Bible study a daily priority!!! Parents…Encourage your young person in this worthy endeavor and model these important spiritual disciplines for your children!
Our MYF ski trip will be to Winterplace, WV during over the MLK
weekend in January. Please pray for safe travels, safe skiing, Godly
fellowship and lots of snow!
Looking Ahead: February 7th ~ Souper Bowl collection during morning worship service and Super Bowl Party at youth! Details about special outings will be announced at youth and in the weekly bulletin.
GET REAL @ YOUTH IN 2016! Make a REAL effort to be there and be your REAL self, have REAL fun and make REAL friends, ask REAL questions and get REAL answers, discover REAL faith and make a REAL difference!
YMY: We are having a B.L.A.S.T. (Bible Study And Learning Together) and seeing the young people of our church have a wonderful time together! We are so excited to see how God is bringing our young people closer to each other and closer to Him. Two special theme nights this month so check out the fun events below, bring a friend and have a blast with us on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-5:30pm!
January 6: Epiphany Party! Bring a snack food to share at the party. Drinks and paper products will be provided!
January 27: Donut Night! Fill that empty spot in your heart with Jesus!
Thanks so much to everyone who support the youth, children and our family! Your kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity bless us year around and provide an excellent example for our precious young people! How wonderful it is to be part of a loving, caring church family…we LOVE you all!
Thanks! We especially appreciate everyone who prays for us and the youth; prayers are powerful and WE NEED PRAYER WARRIORS so please keep praying for God to work in and through us, the children and youth as we strive to know Him and to make Him known!
