MUSIC NOTES

The school year has begun, and hopefully Fall will soon be felt in the weather. Football games, leaves changing color, and cooler temperatures will be a welcome change.

The musicians at Main Street will be preparing new music.

The Kids Praise Choir (5K to 5th grade) will be rehearsing on the first and third (1st and 3rd) Wednesdays from 5:00-5:20 p.m.

The Junior Handbell Choir (School Age) will be rehearsing on the second and fourth (2nd and 4th) Wednesdays from 5-5:20 p.m.

The Youth Praise Choir (6th to 12th grade) will rehearse each Wednesday from 5:20-5:40 p.m.

The Sarah Allen Handbell Choir will rehearse on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:00 p.m.

The Charles Wesley Choir will rehearse on Wednesdays from 7-8:00 p.m.

A special “Kick Off Celebration” will be held for the Children’s Choir, the Junior Handbell Choir, and the Youth Choir on Wednesday, September 5, at 5:00 p.m. Weekly rehearsals will begin on September 12.

The Sarah Allen Handbell Choir and the Charles Wesley Choir will not resume Wednesday rehearsals until October.

The Fall is the perfect time to join a choir and become a part of Main Street’s Music Ministry. Please come and join!
