The summer months at Main Street will be coming to a close with the arrival of August. Hopefully, the summer temperatures will also begin to drop—although I expect to be disappointed in this wish.

I am so happy to have had such terrific support from the musicians during June and July, and I am thrilled with the service music that we have been able to offer. It is wonderful to have the choir back in the choir loft! Thanks be to God!

During the services on the five Sundays of August, I am planning a variety of
musical choices, both instrumental and vocal, that I hope will be an inspiration to both the musicians and the congregation.

In September, The Sarah Allen Handbell Choir will resume rehearsals; and they will join the worship services. Musical highlights to anticipate include the annual All Saints’ Service, our Thanksgiving music, and the seasons of Advent and Christmas.
