Centennial Celebration Update

Early Preview—Centennial Moment—February 21, 2016

During the worship service on February 21, Richard Cottingham  will make a presentation from the pulpit. Afterward Richard will be joined by his brothers Charles and Steve, as they present a medley entitled “Favorite Methodist Hymns”. This medley will include the following songs: “In The Garden”, “The Old Rugged Cross”, “How Great Thou Art” and “Amazing Grace”. Charles will also sing a solo entitled “The Greatest of These Is Love” by Roberta Bitgood.

These three gentlemen are sons of John C. and Elizabeth “Lib” Cottingham, who sang in Main Street’s choir for many years. Richard, Charles, and Steve grew up in Dillon and attended Sunday School at Main Street. Please make plans to attend this service.

2. A white porcelain commemorative plate, with a double gold rim. It includes both historical information about our church and original artwork by Reverend Sayre. This plate is available in the church office at a cost of $25.00 each.

These feature the original artwork of our church by Reverend Sayre, and they are available in the church office for $10.00 per pack.

All of these Centennial Remembrances would make wonderful gifts for family and friends.
