Music Notes from Robin – September 2021

September of 2021 has arrived! Can you believe that it has been 20 years since the 9/11 tragedy occurred? Main Street, however, is still continuing to worship and still using the power of music to encourage, uplift, and inspire. Thank you, musicians, for sharing your talents!

I am thrilled to welcome Glenn Parrish, our newest member, to the choir. There are still other chairs that need to be filled. Please consider joining us.
Now is the perfect time!

The Charles Wesley Choir is rehearsing at 7 o’clock on Wednesday evenings. On Wednesday, October 20, the Sarah Allen Handbell Choir will resume weekly rehearsals at 6:30 p.m.

Several new anthems will be shared in September at the morning worship services. I am also planning to incorporate the Ladies’ and Men’s Ensembles as they sang in August—and will again in September.

Let’s keep a song in our hearts as we enter the final four months of 2021.
